I have been working alongside a CLLD consultant to develop Letters and Sounds across KS1 in our school. The results have been phenomenal. As part of this process I have developed plans and resources following the revisit/review, teach, apply, practise model. My plans follow the Letters and Sounds programme and encourage pace in order for children to learn the letters and sounds within the suggested timescales. These plans have been used in both a Reception class and a Year 1 class. The children enjoy the activities and the majority of children have achieved the expected results.
